 USGS:  A major 6.2 earthquake hit off the East Coast of Honshu, Japan Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at 11:44:07 UTC, at a depth of 10 km (6.2 mi).

 USGS:  A 6.2 major earthquake hit off the East Coast of Honshu, Japan on Sunday, July 24, 2011, at 18:51:25 UTC, at a depth of 35.6 km (22.1 mi).

Commentary:  There have been five major (6.0+) earthquakes throughout the world in the last five days; the stats are increasing daily.  "There will be great earthquakes in various places, famines, pesitilences, and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven" Luke 21:11.
